To write about the weekly fog
Of Special Ed and all the rest,
Sometimes serious and some in jest.

Papers, T.V., and radio show,
The Internet and meetings I’ll go
And write about the weekly scene,
Sometimes nice and sometimes mean.

No neat and pretty list-serve notes,
No smart and edgy inside quotes.
Children are the hope for all,
Cinderella waiting for the ball.

Glass slippers wait for all to see,
Each foot slips in up to the knee.
Pork barrel smells and lawyer tricks,
Food for fodder, fun and kicks.
